Jamie Nuss - Percussion

Jamie began his musical journey in his hometown of Toowoomba in Queensland, Australia. He was introduced to playing in brass bands by his father and they both played percussion for the Toowoomba Municipal Bands.

 

Jamie went on to study music at the University of Southern Queensland and was heavily involved in his local community both in a teaching and performing capacity.

Jamie relocated to the UK in September 2014 after being offered a position with The Cory Band. He has since had the privilege of performing in world-class concert venues throughout the UK, Europe and North America.

 

In 2016, Jamie joined the British Army as a regular (full time) Musician and was posted to The Band of The Prince of Wales’ Division, before moving to British Army Band Tidworth. He is now posted to The Band and Bugles of The Rifles.
